How Does The Claim Process Work?
1. The first step is to file a claim. Once that is complete an adjuster from the insurance company will assess the damage to create an initial estimate for repairs.
Sometimes during this step the insurance company may ask the contractor to write and submit an estimate with photos.

2. You choose a contractor to perform the repairs on your property.
3. Your insurance coverage deductible is due to the contractor at the time of signing.
4. Work begins within 1-3 weeks of signing the contract with YRS.
5. Once you receive an ACV check from the insurance company in some cases you will sign this check over to YRS towards the cost of repairs or deposit and pay forward. Or you can provide YRS with a check for 35% of the project total.
6. If any unforeseen items are found during the course of the project YRS will document these items and work directly with your assigned adjuster to assure repairs are made to everything necessary.
7. When the repairs are complete YRS will invoice you for the remaining balance and inform the insurance company that work is complete and to issue final payment to you.
8. You will received a final check from the insurance company to pay YRS for the remaining balance.
